Owned by Angela Blocker, Studio Detroit Dance Center is a multipurpose dance studio that offers a myriad of services to the Detroit community and its surrounding metro areas. It serves dancers of all talent levels by offering a reciprocal learning environment experience. New, inexperienced dancers are able to garner skills and tips from seasoned professionals, while the professionals are inspired by the aspirations, passion, and innovative approaches of new students.

SDDC Outreach
Outside of its studio walls, Studio Detroit seeks to create a challenging dance environment that encourages high standards and accommodates individual differences and learning styles. As such, SDDC’s outreach program brings on-site dance instruction to youth participants across metro-Detroit through partnerships with educational and recreational institutions. We provide a safe, orderly, caring, and supportive environment where each student's self-esteem is fostered by positive social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.
